Let me explain why capitalism sucks

(I had a lot to say so I dictated all this to my phone. This was keeping me from sleeping so I had to get it out. Insomnia sucks.)

So the thing about capitalism is that it was always designed to funnel money upwards into the hands of the Rich and Powerful. It came out of a time when monarchies were failing because people are rising up and having revolutions and dismantling feudalism. So the French Revolution is happening and Aristocrats were trying to hold on to their power and wealth so they created capitalism.

And so what happens in capitalism is you have a boss who hires workers. They start a business with starter Capital but basically they're leveraging the power that they have from having more Capital than a lower class that is more financially desperate,  so they need that job just to survive, and they don't have any bargaining power because of that. The boss can exploit their labor and alienate them from their labor and convince them to go along with their own exploitation.

So that happens on a small scale but as businesses grow in power under capitalism, there's always competition. There's always businesses trying to take over other businesses, so no matter how big you get game just gets bigger. At some point you have something like Apple who is manufacturing, on a massive scale, iPhones and computers. And to do that they have to create a massive worldwide ring of exploitation.

In China you have these Sweatshop conditions were people are working 10 plus hour days where they just are basically a machine. They put one screw in an iPhone and they do that all day everyday, and they make maybe a dollar dollar fifty an hour.

And at these places they sleep in a dormitory so they live at work and most of their money, or a lot their money goes back into that company. Cuz they buy things from Company Store and they buy their food from the company. And there are Nets built under stairwells because people are trying to commit suicide so often, and these people are just like a resource for that company. Like Apple does not give a s*** about those people, they don't care that they're trying to kill themselves. They don't want them to kill themselves because they're a tool.

And if you think things are bad for those people, there's the people mining the materials that go into those phones. Like the copper mines, those people are like dying all the time in those mines, they are extremely unsafe, to get paid even worse.

And the way like capitalists create the conditions that allow them to exploit people like that, they go into countries and they take all their resources. So capitalist will go in and they'll say "Oh we're going to help develop your country, and we're going to help develop it by making a water processing plant so you'll have clean water." And then they take all the water, the biggest natural resource water, that lshould belong to everybody.

They take it and then I sell it back to the people that live there. And they charge the country for the whole construction, put them in debt. The people that really profit off of this, a couple top politicians make millions and become super rich, but lthe rest of the population of the country gets screwed over.

Then because they take all the land and wealth from those people, they can come back and be like "Now if you want a place to live you have to work in our sweatshops."

And then even in America there's truck drivers who are basically slaves. They live and work in their car for like weeks on end, and just drive everyday and sleep in their car.

And the way our prisons are basically kept a lot of people of color enslaved too. Because they just end up in prison, and slavery is legal eagle in the Constitution if you're a prisoner. So we have these corporate prisons where people give free labor and make materials for corporations.

Everything is designed to make profit for the super rich, everything in capitalism is about exploitation. There's no profit without exploiting someone's work. Otherwise the boss would be paying other people the same rate that they're getting paid.

Capitalism also creates corruption. When everything becomes corrupt that's not a bug in capitalism, it's a feature. And when we think wealth inequality is a bug, that's what capitalism is. Capitalism is all about acquiring as much Capital as you possibly can and hoarding it and that's why every corporation does that.

It creates corruption cuz once you funneled all that money and power into the hands of the few, then it's so much more power to meddle in elections. Hire lobbyists, hire think tanks, and advertise,  which is just a form of corporate propaganda.

Elections are being basically just a way of manufacturing consent. We have proof  that we live in a plutocracy,  politicians just do what the rich want. And when people vote it just makes them feel like they had a choice in the matter but it's really just so that people will feel like they are consenting to having someone rule them, and and have power over them. So yeah corruption is still a part of it.

If you look at any system under capitalism, like look at look at the housing market for example. What is the purpose of the housing market? Is the purpose of the housing market to give people housing or to make sure that people get housing? That's what a lot of people think it does but actually the purpose of the housing market is to profit off of people's need for housing. It's what capitalism does.

It has to create scarcity so it can make a profit, so homelessness isn't a bug in the housing market, the housing market is designed to create homelessness. It's optimally profiting off of people's need for shelter, to charge a rate where it's making the most it can. Then there has to be some people that can't afford that and those people just have to live on the street.

If we moved away from capitalism, if we moved to Anarchy, Anarchy is just about having non-hierarchical organization, horizontal organization instead of vertical organization. So instead of trying to think of how to make the most profit and how to exploit other people to make that profit, they would be working together. It wouldn't be about competition, it would be about Cooporation.

So you're working together to try to get everyone's needs met, and just have the best way to live your best life, basically. So everyone you know meets and talks about what they need. You might form in to communes probably, so Olympia might be a commune or the West Side might be a commune. Whatever works, because if something's not working you can always reorganize and change it until it does work.

So everyone would meet and maybe you'd say, "We need housing." So you'd say, "We need carpenters, and we need electrician, and we need plumbers. Does anyone want to do that? We need people who want to do that, and if you do that you get benefits. So if you help us build houses, I will give you Electronics or we'll give you all the things you want for pitching into society."

And there would be some sort of contract, where you would say, "Okay I'm going to do this for the community, in exchange for sharing in all the rest of the wealth of the community."

See you also organize on a higher level, so maybe instead of getting Carpenters, our community wouldn't have a Carpenter. So we go to a carpenter's union, Washington State Carpenters Union or something. They could maybe train us, or maybe they would send someone to help us do that work.

Or maybe we could just put automation to work for us instead of against us because we wouldn't be in competition. You could have a printer that prints houses out of concrete like someone's already made, and then no one would even have to do all that work.

Under socialism you use automation to do all the manual labor eventually, and then everyone can spend their time learning and coming up with a new solutions to problems. So you'd have a much more well-educated class of people, just everyone would be well-educated. Most people would be thinkers are artists or both, you wouldn't have to just specialize and do one job, you could have multiple jobs.

So everyone would just have more fun because you wouldn't constantly be suffering in this hellscape where everyone's in constant competition over resources, creating artificial scarcity so they can one-up each other. And then stirring up racism and hatred to control people and pit them against each other so they're constantly fighting each other instead of looking at the rich and looking at what the rich are doing to everyone else. I think that would be way more fun personally.
